The Business Services Division is responsible for maintaining the general ledger accounting system and generating financial reports. The Division is responsible for Audit, Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budgets, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and the Ten Year Fiscal Model. The division is also responsible for receiving and accounting for all cash collections, invoicing and collection of accounts receivable, as well as monitoring, auditing and investing the City’s funds. In addition, this division issues and administers the City’s bonds and other financing instruments, which include administration of collection of assessments for various assessment districts, ensuring accurate and timely payments to bondholders, delinquency resolution and meeting debt reporting requirements to external agencies.
