Operations and Maintenance, a division of the Public Works Department, oversees the operation and maintenance of all City public works facilities. These facilities include domestic water supply, treatment and distribution, garbage collection and recycling service, roadways, sewage collection and treatment, storm drainage and creek maintenance and maintenance of the City’s equipment fleet.

Construction of 5 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant

Staff is available Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm for operating city facilities, providing maintenance services and responding to residents requests. Should you notice an area that requires maintenance, such as a burned out street light, pothole in the road or graffiti in a public area, please notify our Operations/Maintenance Division in one of the following ways:

If you encounter an after hours water or sewer emergency, please contact Police Dispatch at (925) 778-2441, they will notify the after hours stand-by staff member to respond to the situation.
