Specific Plan Workshop Planned

BRENTWOOD, CA. The second of two workshops that will help determine the future of three key areas in the city will be held January 15 at the Community Center. The areas are:

• Downtown
• Brentwood Boulevard Corridor (north of downtown)
• Empire Triangle (northeast of Empire Avenue/Lone Tree Way)

The blueprint for development in each of these areas is known as a Specific Plan, and residents are encouraged to help decide what the areas will look like, what sorts of housing or businesses should go in each, and how people will get in and out of the areas.

Comments from the meeting will be added to those expressed at the first Specific Plan meeting of October 2, 2003. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at the Brentwood Community Center, 730 Third Street. For more information, call the Community Development Department at 925-516-5405.
