Sunset Sports Complex Groundbreaking
The public is invited to come out and join city staff and elected officials at a groundbreaking ceremony, “Sunrise at Sunset,” on Friday, August 15, at 8:30 a.m. at Sunset Park, 655 Sunset Road. With Brentwood’s rapidly expanding population the need for additional athletic fields made the expansion of Sunset Park Athletic Complex a high priority. The current 10-acre facility will be expanded to a 38-acre state of the art athletic facility that maximizes the site’s potential. Once finished, the $8.1 million complex will help serve the needs of Brentwood’s youth and adult sports programs and recreational opportunities.
