The Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to the wellbeing and quality of life of our community. We provide the best in programs, parks and services at a great value to our customers. Brentwood has approximately 242 developed acres of active parks in our park system, comprised of nearly 100 award winning parks and facilities, 19.2 miles of beautiful local and regional trails, and 63 miles of on street bike lanes.

Join the City of Brentwood as we honor Veterans!
Families can participate by coloring a U.S Armed Forces page - pick up a copy at the Brentwood Community Center, Brentwood Library, or print one from your home and return it by Friday, November 8, 2024, to show your support.

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, don’t miss the inaugural Veterans Parade in Downtown Brentwood starting at 9:30 a.m. Parade will come down First Street and end at Maple Street. The recommended viewing areas are First Street between Birch Street and Maple Street.
After the parade, join us at the Veterans Hall (located at the corner of Maple St. and First St.), for a memorable ceremony hosted by the Veterans Service Organizations.
On Monday, November 11, 2024, join us at 10:30 a.m. for the Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Park, featuring guest speakers, live vocal performances, a rifle salute, and a tribute to our veterans.
