CITY OF BRENTWOOD TO CELEBRATE RIBBON CUTTING FOR WINDSOR WAY PARK

BRENTWOOD, CA -- The City of Brentwood invites the community to join us for a special ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the reopening of Windsor Way Park located at 1350 Windsor Way on Wednesday, April 9 at 4:00 PM.

Originally constructed in 1999, Windsor Way Park has long been a cherished neighborhood space for families and residents to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors. As part of the City’s 2024/25 – 2028/29 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), the park has received a vibrant upgrade with the installation of brand-new play equipment, completed earlier this month.

“This project reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to investing in Brentwood’s parks and public spaces,” said Assistant City Manager Darin Gale. “The improvements at Windsor Way Park ensure that this beloved neighborhood park remains a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of our community.”

The updated play area features modern, accessible equipment designed to engage children of all abilities, providing a fun and safe environment for active play. The enhancements are part of a broader initiative under the City’s five-year CIP plan to maintain and improve community infrastructure.

The CIP supports the City Council’s Strategic Plan Initiatives, which focus on delivering new infrastructure, enhancing existing facilities, and ensuring continued investment in Brentwood’s future. We hope the community will join us to celebrate this exciting milestone and enjoy the refreshed Windsor Way Park!
