The City of Brentwood has begun work on a key Capital Improvement Project in the Summerset II community to enhance water service reliability and system efficiency. Identified as a priority in the City’s Water Master Plan, this project is a combined effort between the Engineering and Public Works Departments to improve the City’s water distribution network.
The Water Line Improvement – Kent Drive project includes installing approximately 600 linear feet of new water line along Kent Drive between Grenadier Way and Tayberry Lane. This new line will run parallel to the existing 8-inch water line, increasing flow capacity and strengthening a critical connection between the east and west halves of Zone 2. Once completed, this improvement will enhance system performance and ensure consistent, reliable water service for residents in the area. Project completion is anticipated by mid-November.
