About Us

The Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to the wellbeing and quality of life of our community. We provide the best in programs, parks and services at a great value to our customers. Brentwood has approximately 242 developed acres of active parks in our park system, comprised of nearly 100 award winning parks and facilities, 19.2 miles of beautiful local and regional trails, and 63 miles of on street bike lanes.

Military Veteran Banner Program

Applications are now open for the City of Brentwood Military and Veteran Banner Program. This program honors active duty service members and honorably discharged veterans with ties to Brentwood by displaying their banner at Veterans Park from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.

The City of Brentwood is sponsoring banners for up to 32 participants at no cost.

Application deadline:
February 2 at 5:00 pm, or until all spaces are filled.

Eligible honorees must be active duty or an honorably discharged veteran and either live in Brentwood or have an immediate family member who does.

Spots are limited, and participants are selected at random. Applicants not selected will receive priority the following year.
