Economic Development

Brentwood’s Economic Development team implements the City’s Economic Development Strategy and oversees a wide variety of services and initiatives, including:

Local Business Assistance:  Brentwood’s Economic Development team can work with you to help you solve complex business issues – from permits to finance to marketing to real estate – and connect you with key services and business opportunities.

Business Attraction:  Using marketing, industry outreach, analysis, permit assistance, development agreement and other efforts, the City’s Economic Development staff seek to attract high quality office, retail and industrial jobs to Brentwood.

Agricultural Enterprise: The City has an ongoing, innovative partnership with local agricultural businesses to preserve farmland, promote agritourism and develop agriculture- related industries.

The team has several programs that are specific to helping local businesses succeed. These include an Economic Development Grant Program, Marketing Programs, and Business Training and Business Networking. The team also provides our current businesses with expansion assistance when the time is right.
