Purpose

 The Brentwood Youth Commission is a group of young individuals that serve to advise the City Council, providing the youth with a voice in the local government. The Commission would like to recognize businesses within the community that develop a youth oriented environment.

 What does it mean to be a Youth Friendly Business?

 A Youth Friendly Business in Brentwood respects and welcomes youth customers, hires youth as employees, and sponsors youth programs in the community. This business must clearly set itself apart, it must value serving and employing the youth to create an atmosphere for teenagers within the city.
