Engineers Week (February 22–28, 2026)

Engineers Week is a national celebration that recognizes the engineers and technicians who help design, build, and maintain the systems our community depends on every day.

Here in Brentwood, it’s also a chance to highlight the work that often happens behind the scenes, turning plans into real improvements that keep our city safe, connected, and moving forward.

To mark Engineers Week, the City of Brentwood is launching a short video series hosted by our L.A.U.N.C.H. Engineer Intern, Amara, a senior at Heritage High School. In each episode, Amara will take viewers on a quick look at the people and projects behind the roads, sidewalks, streetlights, and facilities you see around Brentwood every day.

Follow along during Engineers Week as we share new episodes and celebrate the public service professionals who help keep Brentwood running.
